Jodi Wilson attended the University of Southern California Gould School of Law where she graduated in 1987 with Honors.
Following graduation from USC she began her legal career at the national law firm of LeBeouf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae (now Dewey & MacRae LLP). Following the birth of her first child, Jodi left “big firm” law and began her solo practice of law focusing on family law, divorce, and litigation.
For over twenty years, as a Chicago Attorney, Jodi has been representing individuals, and families in divorce, and family law matters, and small businesses in litigation matters, in both California and Illinois. By working in two states Jodi has the unique perspective of navigating two sets of family law statutes and opinions. Jodi is a trained family law mediator having received training and a certificate in family law mediation from DePaul University. In 2008 she and Alan teamed up to form Orlowsky & Wilson, Ltd.
In addition to general family law matters, Jodi has combined her background as a Speech Pathologist with her personal experience as the mother of a disabled child to focus on matters involving special education and school law.
Jodi´s top-tier legal training and experience coupled with her skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist and her commitment to ensure that every child gets free and appropriate education makes her a strong advocate for the rights of special education students.
Jodi grew up in Los Angeles. She graduated from San Diego State University in 1976, with Highest Honors. She obtained a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University in 1980. In 1987 she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law where she graduated with Honors.
Jodi is a member of the bar in Illinois, Wisconsin, and California.
